Post-party Hangover Plan: Whole Day Plan
Here's a day-long menu that will help you to eat your way out of that hangover. First thing
- Drink a glass of orange juice.
- Take up to 200mg of milk thistle with some water. Its effects may not be as effective if you take it after the party rather than before, but it will help support your liver.
- Scrambled eggs and baked beans.
- Brown toast with honey.
- Carrot juice or more orange juice.
- A multivitamin. You should never take vitamins on an empty stomach, so now is the best time to take that vitamin pill.
- Make a fruit smoothie out of yogurt, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Or prepare a fruit salad with orange, kiwi, strawberries and melon.
- Chicken or tuna sandwich (on wholemeal bread) with a watercress and tomato salad.
- Carrot, apple or orange juice.
- Another 200mg of milk thistle.
- Toast and honey.
- Lamb chops, with a serving of brown rice, cabbage and artichokes.
- Apple or orange juice.
- A final 200mg of milk thistle.
